Behavior technicians may encounter situations where something feels off but may be unsure whether they are dealing with a disagreement, a concern, or an ethical violation. This training builds on the professional communication, supervision, and reporting concepts introduced in RBT training by helping learners navigate common situations involving scope of practice and supervision.
Through practical examples and guided discussion, learners will explore how to evaluate concerns, communicate professionally, and determine appropriate next steps. Learners will also reflect on their own communication style and explore strategies for approaching difficult conversations effectively. Topics include scope of practice, supervision, professional communication, chain of command, documentation, and differentiating between disagreements, concerns, and ethical violations.
